At Hall Road Kindergarten we aim to provide quality care to all children, enhancing development through play in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

This enables all our children to learn and develop individually at their own pace.

We achieve this by covering all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), as recommended by

Each child is encouraged to develop and grow, by their keyperson, who will observe and record the child’s progress in their individual, Personal Learning Journeys. Records are updated termly and are available to parents at any time.

Welcome to Hall Road Kindergarten. We hope that your stay with us will be a happy one and that you will tell all your friends about us. You are more than welcome to come along and visit us as many times as you like before your child starts. It is important for you and your child to feel safe and secure
with us and the environment, therefore we will create a settling in plan for each individual family.

We are registered to take children ages 2-5 up to 26 children per session. We are a member of the P.S.L.A (Pre-School Learning Alliance) and registered with OFSTED, our
report is available to read on the OFSTED website

Each parent receives a home link diary; this is a book that the staff and parents can write in, for example: - special events or achievements of the child or any concerns that need to be raised.

These can be used as much or as little as needed and as an alternative to speaking to members of staff (We understand that this is not always possible).

We aim to give your child a variety of activities, which will develop their physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social skills. Introducing new goals for your child to discover and achieve, by their own curiosity exploration and natural awareness. So, when your child goes on to school, they
will be happy, confident, secure and well-adjusted to cope with the new transition. We have close links to local schools and the children’s centre.
